LAUNCH NIGHT

It was a night of mayhem or was that Anaheim???

17 family and friends of John "Gump" Golfin crowded a small restaurant of capacity 30 in Rose Bay Sydney to celebrate the official launch of "Root69"... ahead of John "Gump" Golfin meeting Maureen "Thelma" Lubinksy and Di "Loiuse" Craven in Brisbane on Tue 14MAY13 before jetting across the Pacific on 15MAY13 to meet Paris "Bubba" Anderson at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The evening included a full rundown of the epic 42 day, 15,000km drive with emphasis on "culture" and "people".

The official foursome is due to leave Costa Mesa Los Angelas California for Las Vegas Nevada on Thursday morning 16MAY13 on the first leg of the epic road trip across Heartland USA!!!

Get ready for the driving, laughing ride of your life...
